If you want to go shopping or visit the sights of Beaune, choose the simplest solution for getting around in Beaune: walk!
Park your car in one of the many town car parks, and stroll around Beaune’s typical streets inside the city walls. … It’s only a 15-minute walk from the “Porte Marie de Bourgogne” (in the south) to the “Porte Saint-Nicolas” (in the north).

Getting around Beaune By bike :

If you want to explore Beaune and the Burgundy countryside, using a bike is one of the most enjoyable means of transport. Follow the Beaune to Santenay cycle track through typical villages and vineyards and extend your discovery of the Southern Burgundy countryside through its vineyards and hedged farmland on the Green Route (from Santenay to the outskirts of Mâcon).
