The race « 24 Heures de Beaune »

The race « 24 Heures de Beaune » is a pleasant and funny event but also a timed bike race with its rules, spectators and prices... for teams and visitors alike.
This race is a major event in Beaune where teams of 8 competitors take turns riding their bicycles (equipped with at least three wheels and two competitors).
Over 25.000 visitors take part in this race night and day (the race starts on Saturday at 4pm and ends on Sunday at 4pm). Each year the theme for bike decorations changes, e.g. underwater world, 20th century, circus, music, South America, Asia, France's history, cartoons and this year: "UNESCO". |
