After a year 2021 which saw the gradual reopening of the venues, in 2022 we hope to renew the pleasure of welcoming you in a renewed conviviality and to share once again privileged moments around the artists and the winegrowers in exceptional heritage sites and a unique atmosphere. It is above all a festival of the senses that promotes the rapprochement between the world of music and that of wine.
The association "Les Amis de la Musique à Meursault" offers you a high quality programme for the 37th edition of the festival "de Bach à Bacchus" which will take place from Friday 15th to Tuesday 19th July.

Friday 15 July at 8.30 pm, Meursault church. Reinhold Friedrich, solo trumpet of the Lucerne orchestra, and Eriko Takezawa on the piano will perform works by J.S. Bach, G. Mahler, R. Strauss, G. Gershwin.

Come and spend a Saturday with music from morning to night in Meursault
    - at 9 am, at the Château de la Velle. A musical breakfast with the duo Just Couz, accordion and guitar, will gently wake you up with gypsy jazz.

    - From 3pm, discover four places in Meursault, glass in hand. A winemaker will offer you a tasting of his wines, and musicians will play in an informal setting and in all styles of music: Julien Blanc and Yves Henry on the piano, Agnès Peytour on the harp, the Harmonie de Meursault, Antoine Bonardot on the harpsichord will accompany mezzo Lucile Bailly.

Sunday 17 July at 3.30 pm. Discover the vineyards of Meursault with " La clé des sols " : Karoline Knoth, historian, and Françoise Vannier, geologist, will search with you, during a walk, for the keys to be able to read the scores of the soil, shaped by the geological and human history.

Sunday at 6 pm, Meursault church. Do you know the sound of brass instruments? The Kaléïd Brass is an ensemble whose mission is to discover and honour the instruments of the brass and percussion family throughout the history of music. Under the direction of Jean-Charles Dunand, it will perform works by J.S. Bach, A. Borodin, D. Shostakovich and I. Stravinsky.

Monday 18 July at 6.30 pm. Visit the cellars of the Château de Meursault, with tasting (8 wines). Special offer from the Château de Meursault for Festival spectators.
