Jacky Terrasson started playing the piano at the age of 5 and started composing at the age of 6. During his teenage years, he was introduced to jazz by Jeff Gardner and Francis Paudras. In 1984, he entered the famous Boston music school, the Berklee College of Music.
After signing with the Blue Note label, he went on to release a series of albums. In 1995, the New York Times announced that he was one of the 30 artists likely to change American culture in the next 30 years. He performs all over the world in various formations and offers his audience a constantly reinvented music.
