'Back to Burgundy': the Côte de Beaune as our backdrop
"Back to Burgundy" (Ce qui nous lie), Cédric Klapisch's new film with Pio Marmaï, Ana Girardot and François Civil, was shot in the Beaune region (Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Corton Hill...)
The touching story of siblings in Burgundy who must reinvent themselves as they take over the management of their father's vineyard.
Jean left his family and his native Burgundy ten years ago to travel the world. When he learns of the imminent death of his father, he returns to the land of his childhood. He finds his sister, Juliette, and brother, Jérémie. Their father dies just before the harvest begins. In the space of a year, these 3 young adults rediscover and reinvent their relationships with the changing seasons, blossoming and ripening at the same time as the wine they make.
