Because we’ve prepared a list of high-capacity rentals in and around Beaune for you.
Maison des Courtines is suitable for those who like to share activities and outings with their friends but who also enjoy having their private space to relax. A 2-minute walk from Place Carnot, the heart of Beaune, this amazing 18th-century mansion has 8 perfectly renovated apartments with neat, elegant décor. For groups of friends or large families, the place is perfect. Studio-style apartments can accommodate couples without children while the larger apartments can accommodate the entire family.
You can arrive totally carefree, without having to prepare your stay, as your hosts know the best places to go in town. Want to discover Beaune’s wonderful wineries, travel the Voie des Vignes wine route by electric bike, enjoy Burgundy gastronomy, fly in a hot air balloon over the vineyards? Last year, you rented a cottage on the farm. Now, come and do something a little different - spend your holidays with a winemaker in Burgundy. You won't regret it. Au Creux du Coche is a holiday cottage in one of the most famous villages in Burgundy, Meursault, just 15 minutes from Beaune by car and 30 minutes by bike on the Voie des Vignes. In this beautiful house full of character, you can stay with your large family. The spaces are comfortable, and the outdoors area is perfect for children, with a terrace and kids’ games. And inside has its share of nice surprises for your "brood", since next to the dining room, there’s a games room with table football, pool, table tennis...
The cottage has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so there’s no shortage of space. And if your family has grown all of a sudden, you can ask the owners to sort out some extra beds. Be sure to contact them before you arrive of course, ideally when booking.
For the children, you’ll see that there’s enough to keep them busy on rainy days and sunny ones alike. As for you, well, the advantage of staying with a winemaker is that there’s often a cellar, and in Burgundy, there’s fine wine, too. The winemaker offers tastings in his cellar, if there’s time between his other work. Again, it’s best to arrange this when making your booking, in order to fully organise your stay.

For a weekend or holiday in Burgundy with a large family
If you’re looking for authentic places, away from the crowds, that feel like the old days, Moulin de la Navette in Chevigny en Valière is for you. For you and your large family, that is. Because the Moulin is a rather unusual holiday cottage that can accommodate up to 13 people.
The house, which dates back to 1755 (that’s right, 1755), is full of charm. A large living and dining room welcomes you with its open fireplace and huge wooden table. Suffice to say that this mill really is a place where you can feel totally disconnected from your everyday life. With its raclette and fondue services and plancha grill, it holds the promise of some wonderful family evenings by the fire.
As for the outdoor area, the spacious tree-lined garden is perfect for children's games.

A holiday cottage for 10 to 12 people in the vineyards of Burgundy
It's quite simple - Clos d'Anathol welcomes you into the vineyards. You open the garden gate and there you are in the vineyards of Auxey-Duresses, a charming little village in the Côte de Beaune.This is the perfect place to realise that a weekend in Burgundy is worth experiencing whatever the season. The view of the yellow and red vineyards in autumn, covered in green in summer, frosted over in winter or blossoming in spring brings you closer to this wonderful nature tamed by the hand of man for centuries.
Clos d'Anathol is a beautiful, warm, comfortable country house. Stone walls and ceilings with century-old wooden beams give an olde-worlde feel to its renovated rooms. The range cooker in the kitchen is perfect for preparing large family meals. And the terrace that opens onto the vineyards is a real treat, early in the morning when the children are still asleep so you can have a quiet breakfast. All the more so because behind the vines are the cliffs of St Romain. An exceptional view that tourists miss by just passing through Beaune.

For townies who prefer the city to the countryside, this large apartment is ideal, as it’s located close to the historic centre of Beaune and its Hospices. You can walk right around Beaune to find out all about Burgundy, its history, its wines, the Hospices de Beaune, its inhabitants ... all while staying at 16 Faubourg. This duplex apartment can also be divided into two apartments for 4 and 6 people. Perfect if you come with a couple of friends but don't want to be woken up by their 2-year-old baby who isn’t yet sleeping right through.
The service is exceptional, the décor elegant and the equipment high-end. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom or shower room. A separate laundry area means you can manage your laundry and your shopping without feeling overwhelmed. A play area is laid out for children and everything is provided for the very young.
