  • You will pass through some of the most beautiful sites of the Côte de Nuits, Hautes Côtes and then the Côte de Beaune between Dijon and Santenay and the greatest wine appellations: Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée and Romanée Conti, Clos de Vougeot...
    DAY 1: Arrive in Dijon
    Arrive in the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy.
    Check into the hotel.

    DAY 2: Dijon - Gevrey Chambertin
    Two impressive 15th-century wine presses await you at Chenôve, then head off for Clos de Vougeot, before finishing your journey at Château de Gevrey Chambertin.

    Walking time: about 4 hours (16 km).
    DAY 3: Gevrey Chambertin - Comblanchien
    Gevrey-Chambertin, its fortress transformed by the abbots of Cluny into a "strong cellar", where their best Chambolle-Musigny - Clos-Vougeot - Vosne-Romanée wines were aged, along with the famous vintage once coveted by Madame de Pompadour - Nuits-St-George.

    DAY 4: Comblanchien - Beaune
    Vines as far as the eye can see on the Côte de Beaune.

    DAY 5: Beaune - Santenay
    There are many curiosities along the way, such as the Hospices de Beaune, Château de Meursault and vineyards as far as the eye can see... Time for a few visits to the cellars of Pommard or Chassagne-Montrachet and here you are in Santenay "les-Bains", which was a famous spa in the middle of this wine country! Santenay also offers the curiosity of a windmill on the slopes of the wine-producing area!

    DAY 6: Santenay - Chalon/Saône
    Follow the Green Way to Chalon-sur-Saône to enter Côte Chalonnaise. Discover Châlon-sur-Saône, hometown of Joseph Nicéphore Niepce, inventor of photography in 1824. The old city with its wooden-panelled houses built between the 15th and 17th centuries, St. Vincent's Cathedral and the classical mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries.
