Then continue your journey into the vineyards of Burgundy with Gevrey-Chambertin, its fortress transformed by the abbots of Cluny into a "strong cellar", where their best Chambolle-Musigny - Clos Vougeot - Vosne-Romanée wines slowly aged, along with their famous vintage once coveted by Madame de Pompadour - Nuits-St-Georges.

Vineyards as far as the eye can see here in Côte de Beaune.

Beaune, famous for its Hospices.
