"World Heritage in Celebration" is the new event devised by the 9 Unesco sites in Burgundy-Franche-Comté to give you and your family the chance to spend a festive day discovering what makes each of these 9 sites unique in the world! Games, entertainment, guided tours, tastings, competitions... you won't be bored! In Beaune, we'll be taking you on a discovery of the famous Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne, the world-famous vineyard plots that make up an incredible winegrowing landscape, combining vines, heritage, biodiversity and winegrowing know-how. Join us from 10.30am to 5.30pm at Domaine Baptiste Guyot for an immersive programme at the foot of the Beaune mountain and its Premiers Crus: 🥾 A STROLL THROUGH THE VINEYARDS, A GAME OF RIDDLES AND WINE TASTING! Depart from the estate, riddle book in hand, and set off for a 1h15 stroll through the vines. Along the way, 10 explanatory panels await you, providing information about the landscape, biodiversity, geology, the Climats and their poetic names, the wine appellations and the heritage that surrounds you. There's also a game or riddle to solve at each stop! On arrival, you'll be invited to a wine tasting session hosted by winegrowers from the Beaune ODG. It's a great opportunity to chat and take a look at the neighbouring winery to understand the secrets of Burgundy wine making! (Self-guided tour | Easy level | Last departure recommended at 4pm | Bring trainers | No access for pushchairs). 🎲GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL Have fun and test your knowledge of Climats and Heritage with our games and workshops: - Voyage en terre UNESCO: a board game where you have to reconstruct each site with the right object and the right character. - World Heritage Mölkky: aim accurately and answer the questions. A team challenge! - World Heritage Wheel: turn the wheel and find out everything you need to know about World Heritage. - Themed workshops: games for all ages on biodiversity and the Climats landscape. 🗺️UN TRAVEL LOG Special for families!
