Maison Bouchard Père et Fils

Winegrower ,  Tasting cellar ,  Merchant at Beaune

  • Founded in 1731, the Maison Bouchard Père et Fils owns one of the most prestigious estates in the Côte d'Or: 130 ha of vines, including 12 ha of Grand Crus and 74 ha of Premier Crus. It has been established since 1820 in the Château de Beaune, a former royal fortress built in the 15th century and with ?historical monument? status. It is in the underground cellars and in the fortifications of this exceptional site, behind the 7m thick walls, away from any vibrations or thermal changes that these great wines rest, including a unique collection of bottles from the pre-phylloxera period.
