Don’t miss the fontaine du Chêne, topped by Gallo-Roman stèles, a local curiosity. Settled at the foot of the falaise de Baubigny, the origin of the winegrowing côte, put on your best shoes as a hike circuit awaits you. It links Orches à Saint-Romain in 7km, and allows you to admire the view, from the top of the cliffs. On the way, take the time to pass through the mdeacute;diéval village of Dracy, which from its ruins will tell you its history, marked by civilisations and invasions until the 14th century when it was abandoned. Guided by François, you’ll learn how to read the vines, and how to <strongo;écouter… before tasting five cuvées, including the one from the plot you’ve tread. An authentic moment between nature, passion and dégustation. At lunchtime, head to à Beaune, and régale around the great classics of the region: jambon persillillé, œufs en meurette; bœuf bourguignon; cassis for dessert… A real festival of flavours! And don’t forget the glass of aligoté for white wine lovers, célébrant the Bouzeron and this weekend.
