This year we’re celebrating sport in Burgundy: the Tour de France and the Olympic and Paralympic Flames are set to light up the Côte-d’Or this summer!

The Flamme Olympique will shine across the département, passing through Dijon, the Château du Clos de Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges and stopping off in Beaune on Friday, July 12.

Discover the Côte-d’Or in a different way, proudly labeled “Terre de Jeux 2024” by the Organizing Committee for the 2024 Olympic Games (OG).

After the Côte-d’Or Village held in Beaune on May 4, keep up the pace. Come and experience the excitement of these international events in a warm and friendly setting.

What better way to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Olympic and Paralympic Games than to witness the passing of the flame with your own eyes?

This emblematic flame, a symbol of unity and sporting competition, will travel an exceptional route, passing through 65 stopover towns and 100 emblematic sites.

On Friday, July 12, it will light up the town of Beaune in an unforgettable spectacle.

The stages of the Olympic Flame in Burgundy

Clos Vougeot, Beaune...

The Olympic Flame will be burning on the roads of Burgundy, between the Auxois, the Route des Grands Crus, the Morvan and the Val de Saône. A lovely tour of the Côte d’Or must-sees. Shall we take you there?

From towns to villages, from vineyards to rivers, from forests to historic monuments: the Flame will cross the best of Burgundy.

During the passage of the Olympic Flame through Beaune, traffic restrictions will be in place.

📢Attention📢

  • The Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne parking lot will be closed on July 12 for the passage of the Flame. You can park at the 📌parking Relais de l’autoroute 📌 to attend the events taking place on the Cité forecourt.
  • Public transport will be closed on July 12 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

From the Chemin de l'Ecu to the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne

From Thursday, July 11: from 9 p.m., parking will be prohibited in the streets along the route.

Friday, July 12: from 10:15 a.m., traffic will be prohibited in the streets along the route and in adjacent streets. The ring road will remain open, and detour will be set up for motorists.
