Visit Savigny-les-Beaune
Come and discover the château of Savigny-les-Beaune which houses a surprising collection of Abarth racing cars, over 250 motorcycles and an authentic squadron of fighter planes lined up peacefully in the park. The village is one of the most charming in the wine region. To visit, feel free to follow the marked route in 15 stages and enjoy all the facets of a rich heritage (a short illustrated guide "If Savigny was told to me" is available at the tourist office to help you with your visit - cost: €2). From the Church of St Cassien with its splendid listed Romanesque bell tower to the French-style garden of Chandon de Briailles manor, the village offers some wonderful things to discover. And remember to stop in front of the inscriptions engraved in the stone of the houses. Full of winemaker’s common sense, they assert, among other things, that "there are five reasons to drink: the arrival of a guest, current thirst, future thirst, not to mention the quality of the wine and all those you’d care to imagine".
Discover the village with family and have fun
That’s what the Fun Trails offer. Parents and children can go off treasure hunting in the footsteps of the Duchess of Maine or carry out an investigation with Captain d’Astille. Mysteries, riddles, puzzles and mazes take you around the village in all directions.

Wines that are nourishing, theological, and keep death at bay
A historic vineyard and famous owners such as the Dukes of Burgundy, the Cistercians and even Popes qualify the wines of Savigny-les-Beaune as "theological". The appellation, one of the largest in Burgundy, covers nearly 350 hectares of vineyards. A rarity in the Côte de Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune also produces a festive wine: Crémant de Bourgogne.
Savigny-les-Beaune’s natural side
The Rhoin creeps along the valley from the cliffs of Bouilland to Savigny-les-Beaune, offering somewhere to relax in a beautiful natural area rich in walks. Starting from the camp site, the Chemin des Bois, ideal for families, helps you discover the lush site of Fontaine-Froide, while the Chemin des Vignes leads through the bucolic landscapes of the vineyards.
Savigny-les-Beaune celebrates
Savigny-les-Beaune’s calendar widely celebrates the festive tradition of the wine world by organising several events. First of all, there are those of the Cousinerie de Bourgogne, a wine brotherhood whose great banquets full of good humour punctuate the year, supported by their motto "Always gentlemen are Cousins". The first weekend in May, it’s the growers who invite you to share the secret of their cellar and taste their wines. In early October, taken part in the “Banalités” around the oven, an opportunity to buy your bread baked in the village oven (“four banal”) in the old style. The 3rd Saturday in October, it’s time for the major sports event of the Foulée des Vendanges, a race through the golden autumn vineyards.
