The "Moments Musicaux" bring together musicians of great renown as well as lesser-known personalities or musical groups of undeniable quality.
Friday 22 August, 8.30pm:
Duo Chrysalis - Juliette Ciesla on piano and Antoine Renon on cello
The duo, formed following the long periods of confinement in 2o21, base their concerts on the classical and romantic repertoire without losing sight of one essential requirement: to bring to light little-known works and forgotten composers.
Saturday 23 August, 8.30pm:
Sarah Margaine and Guilhem Fabre - 4-hand piano
François Michonneau - narrator
Programme: 'Carnival of the Animals' by Camille Saint-Saëns
The 'Carnival of the Animals' is a well-known programme that appeals to adults and children alike, who love the mix of music and text. In this version, "Carnaval" is written for 4 hands at the piano and accompanied by texts by Francis Blanche.
Sunday 24 August, 5pm:
Romain Leleu Sextet - a trumpet and... a string quintet
Programme: "Le bœuf sur le toit" (The ox on the roof)
From learned music to popular music, this unique sextet crosses the barriers of styles and eras with panache! The programme is a trip to the Paris of the 20s, and more specifically to the "Bœuf sur le toit", the famous music hall frequented by Jean Cocteau. There will be Milhaud, Satie, Ravel, Porter, Gershwin and Piaf!
