But before the harvest, there's almost a year's work in the vineyard, where it all begins. Months spent pruning, tying, trellising, ploughing and tending. Months spent gazing up at the sky, hoping for rain or sunshine, or dreading frost and storms.

Saturday 30 August 2025 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Meet at 9.30am at Château de la Crée for a coffee and croissant. We'll then head out to the plot where the grapes are being harvested.
After receiving the necessary instructions and information, with secateurs in hand, you will take part in harvesting the grapes. Of course, we'll be with you every step of the way to answer any questions you may have.
Before heading to the château, we'll start by visiting the estate's vat room, where we'll talk about the vinification of our wines.
At the end of the morning, we'll taste the estate's wines in the winery, including a preview of some of the 2022 vintage.
The morning will end with a winemaker's lunch in the Clos du Château.
You can book your experience until 29 August at a cost of €145 per person, including tax (lunch and tasting included).
