About the 5 artists in the "Artistes Pluriels" group exhibition.

- Brigitte PROST has a studio gallery on the Côte Chalonnaise and has created her own brand, LARTDELATOILE. She is passionate about the colour blue. Reflections, transparency, light and depth characterise her canvases. Art is her freedom, which she lives and shares.

- Noro RAJAOSON is a Franco-Malagasy artist who had her first exhibition in London in 2021. From her childhood in Madagascar, she drew inspiration from the colours of the markets of Antananarivo to bring this visual identity to her art. Her speciality is oil painting. She highlights the invisibility of women artists, hence her series of portraits of women and also the recurring themes in Madagascar, notably water shortages.

- Martine MILLON-JAMMAS paints for the pleasure of escaping and stopping time. Her figurative oil paintings express simple, beautiful realities, with the tints and nuances adding a touch of poetry. Her abstract acrylic paintings suggest an atmosphere, encouraging you to let your imagination run free. She has won several prizes in Lorraine, her home region, and Burgundy gives her inspiration.

- A self-taught artist. Brigitte MAGNIEN has been practising dry pastel for 10 years. Introduced to drawing at the Chalon sur Saône school, she has attended various courses with the pastellistes de France in Tournus (Alexis Le Borgne, Dominique Houard, Jean-Claude Baumier and Philippe Henry). A member of the Granges'Arts painting association, she has exhibited her work on several occasions in Buxy and Givry, as well as at 3AT in Tournus. She is currently a member of the association "Les amis des Arts de Saint Rémy".

- Laurent LECUELLE, alias ARTON, creates abstract collages using cardboard. He cuts, assembles, tears and orientates the different grooves, thicknesses and compositions of the cardboard that he selects like a dressmaker chooses his fabrics. He uses used cardboard, collected from shops, and stages the marks on them.

These traces bear witness to exchanges, logistical flows, storage, consumption and recycling. He finishes his work with spray paint. His choice of monochrome makes his work easier to read. Light is an important component of his work, an indispensable revealer.
