From major works to new discoveries and encounters between artists and audiences, the 2026 festival invites everyone to experience music in a different way.
If the Musicancy Festival exists at all, it's first and foremost thanks to a region, its inhabitants, the association's driving forces and the exceptional heritage that brings us together in the heart of the Château d'Ancy-le-Franc and the surrounding area. Musicancy strongly believes that music is not a luxury, but a link between generations, artists and local people. In 2026, we're asserting this identity more than ever, so that the festival is both demanding and accessible, locally rooted and open to the world. Proposing such an artistic adventure is an act of confidence in the public's curiosity, in the strength of the collective, in culture as a driving force for dynamism, attractiveness and cohesion... a real challenge in an extremely fragile budgetary context. Thanks to the loyalty of our audiences, the commitment of our teams and the support of our partners, Musicancy continues to assert its role: to promote culture in the heart of the Tonnerrois region and to offer everyone the chance to enjoy and share moments of art. Welcome to Musicancy 2026!

His colourful jazz is rooted in the south-west of France, where he was born, and moves between Spain, the Mediterranean, the East and the Caribbean, mixing warmth, spices and intimate emotions. His compositions are like songs without words, where nostalgia, revolt, the desire for change and the call of the sea meet. Matthieu Chazarenc (drums) and his faithful travelling companions Christophe Wallemme (double bass), Sylvain Gontard (flugelhorn) and Laurent Derache (accordion) take us on a solar journey.

3rd edition of the Nuit merveilleuse - Ensembles Les Accords Nouveaux, Pierre Gallon and Pierre Deschamps
Château d'Ancy-le-Franc - Etage noble
Three moments of music and storytelling
Ensemble Les Accords Nouveaux: Pernelle Marzorati & Thomas Vincent : Dans un salon au XVIIIe siècle - Musicancy Jeunes Talents Chamber duo. This duo explores the eighteenth-century chamber repertoire, highlighting the refined combination of harp and lute. Through previously unpublished arrangements of works by Joseph Haydn, Johann Kropfgans and other leading figures of the period, this duo plunges us into the aristocratic salons of the Enlightenment. Refined and evanescent, this programme promises a moment of pure poetry.
Pierre Gallon: English Night. Solo keyboards. Journey to the heart of an English night around 1600. Somewhere between a dream, a disquieting strangeness, darkness and the dawning of dawn, this richly imaginative programme explores several facets of the night with the help of some surprising keyboards: virginal, ottavino, toypiano and harpsichord. A moment suspended in intimacy around the treasures of anonymous or well-known music by Byrd, Bull or Dowland.
Pierre Deschamps: Tales of the night. Tales galore to suit the chosen venue and the musical programmes on offer...
