Try your hand at palaeography and calligraphy using the Hôtel-Dieu archives to discover the site's almost 600 years of hospital history in detail. Look at 15th-century parchments to decipher the handwriting, examine 17th-century lettering with a magnifying glass or look at 18th-century administrative registers. Have you deciphered everything? Then it's your turn to take up the pen: choose an extract from the archives you've explored and copy it out in the manner of the ancients. With Andréa Hautevelle, in charge of the Hospices Civils de Beaune archives. Thursdays 12, 19 and 26 February from 6pm to 7.30pm Fridays 10, 17 and 24 April, 7-8.30pm Wednesdays 21 and 28 October, 7pm to 8.30pm Open to all - Exploration ticket Reservations on the Hospices Civils de Beaune website > https://reservation-hoteldieu.hospices-de-beaune.com/plumes-archives.html or at the box office, subject to availability
