Fifty years on the great organ of Notre-Dame de Beaune! On Wednesday 1 July 2026, Michel Tissier, appointed titular organist in Beaune in 1976, will be celebrating this event. He will be offering us an original concert: a dialogue between the organist and the percussionist Gaspar Lavenant in the Boléro by Pierre Cochereau, who was organist at Notre-Dame de Paris (see attached document). Let's all be there to support him.
This event is part of the fiftieth anniversary of the association 'Les Orgues de Beaune', also founded in 1976.
This concert will be followed by three other concerts on Wednesday 8, 15 and 22 July 2026, each lasting approximately one hour, with programmes full of surprises.
Screen projection in the nave of the organist at the console (and the percussionist on 1 July).
