Another visit to the ramparts of Beaune, but this time with an original theme.
Until the 17th century, there was no question of planting trees on the ramparts, or at their foot, where they could have provided potential attackers with concealment or shelter, or served as firing points.
Three Depart from the car park below Avenue de la République beneath the bastion at 2.30pm sharp!
