Located above Santenay, at the border between Côte d'Or and Saône-et-Loire, this site, classified as a "nature park" and natural protected area, was once dedicated to Celtic worship and sacred rites.
By car from Santenay, take the first right towards Dezize les Maranges, enter the car park and complete the last few metres on foot to reach this magnificent circular view from the orientation table over very diverse landscapes: the vineyards with Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Maranges; the foothills of the Morvan; the valley of the Saône and, on clear days: Mont Blanc!
On foot, for the brave, a hiking trail goes through this spectacular viewpoint. This is the "
The Circuit of the Crest", a wonderful loop of 11 km starting from Santenay.
