The Government is using the Health Pass to guarantee everyone’s safety
Since 30th June 2021, life has almost returned to normal thanks to the Pass Sanitaire.
- The curfew is no longer in force
- Wearing a mask outdoors is compulsory in town and city centres and in the following cases, so be careful to keep a mask to hand, to slip over your mouth and nose:
In enclosed places - restaurants and public places included
Outdoors in the following cases:- At markets
- When meeting together in crowded places
- In queues
- In grandstands and stadia
- On public transport
- There are no longer frequentation limit controls for places to visit or restaurants.
- Introduction of the health pass: some places will only be accessible to vaccinated people or those who’ve tested negative (as customers, users or employees).
- Since August 2021 -
- In cafés, restaurants, commercial centres, hospitals, old people’s homes or medical and social care homes
- For travel by air, train and bus for long-distance journeys
- In leisure and cultural venues (amusement parks, shows, festivals grouping together 50 people of more than 12 years old)

If you are not registered with the Social Security scheme, the cost of a SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test is € 29 and that of a PCR test is € 49.
In addition, border controls are being tightened for people returning from at-risk countries, with mandatory isolation for unvaccinated travellers.
Travelling to Beaune and Burgundy from abroad
A classification of countries by the French government sets the conditions for travellers entering France. Three levels have been determined (list can be found on the Government website):- Green country:

- Submit evidence of full vaccination (vaccines recognised by EMA**)
- No compelling reason required
- No test to present
- No isolation measures
- I’m not vaccinated:
- Negative RT-PCR or antigen test less than 72 hours previously required before departure
- No compelling reason required

- If you’re vaccinated:
- Orange country
- I’m vaccinated:
- Proof of full vaccination (vaccines recognised by EMA*)
- No compelling reason required (subject to the additional rules in force in the country of provenance**)
- Negative RT-PCR test less than 72 hours previously or negative antigen test less than 48 hours before departure
- Not subject to 7-day self-isolation
- I’m not vaccinated:
- Compelling reason according to the list of compelling reasons for orange countries are on www.gouvernement.fr (subject to the additional rules in force in the country of provenance**)
- Negative RT-PCR test less than 72 hours previously or negative antigen test less than 48 hours before departure
- Random antigen test on entry into mainland France
- Self-isolation for a period of 7 days

- Compelling reason according to the list of compelling reasons for red countries are on www.gouvernement.fr (subject to the additional rules in force in the country of provenance**)

From December 4th, any person aged 12 or more has to provide the result of a negative PCR or antigen test carried out less than 24 or 48 hours prior to departure, in order to enter France. For more information, visit Government website.
