Beaune boasts a year-round programme packed full of wine, food, cultural and sporting events, so whatever time of year you visit there’s always something on to enjoy.

Major events are Beaune wine festival, Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, Chagny’s market, de Cep en Verre wine fair in Nolay, the Festival of baroque opera, the “fête du pain” in Savigny-les-Beaune, the Santenay mill festival or the Meursault Train festival.
Other events in and around Beaune include night markets of the Grande Vadrouille in Meursault, the Beaune international thriller film festival, the Semi Marathon de la Vente des Vins de Beaune (Half Marathon), the chocolate fair in Santenay, the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival, the Theater Festival in Santenay and in Nolay, the “Moments musicaux” in Chagny, Beaune jazz festival, the Fête des Grands Vins de Bourgogne.
