Beaune Saveurs de Vignes - randonnée gourmande
Building on the success of previous events, the Wine Union of Beaune and its Appellations (SVBA), in association with the Beaune Handball Club (SEB), is preparing to organise the 11th running of the "Beaune Saveurs des Vignes" event, which will take place as every year on Ascension Thursday. So why not plan a long weekend in Pays Beaunois to discover its specialities and riches, starting with a festive moment shared between locals and visitors in the heart of Beaune’s vineyards?
What better way to discover the vineyards than through a tour shared with friends and family? Suitable for everyone, the walk covers a distance of 7 kilometres through the vineyards of Beaune. From the Hospices de Beaune Winery, several stops mean you can taste the wines – regional appellations, Beaune, Beaune premier cru, crémant – from a range of wineries and houses, while eating well, too. In this way, wine-loving walkers will see the differences in soils between the northern and southern slopes of the Montagne de Beaune, gauge the altitude of the different plots, taste the air on the slopes of Teurons or Grèves. All of which will help you better understand the wines to come. Not to mention the men who explain their work along the way.
Throughout the event, you can enjoy the entertainment on offer to help you on your way. To the delight of young and old, music groups will be there to create a friendly, festive atmosphere. And of course, other surprises yet to be revealed await you for the 2018 event!
