De cep en verre
POP MUSIC (ROCK)
Calendars at the ready: on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August 2018, the town of Nolay welcomes you for the 14th edition of the event "De Cep en Verre", to celebrate vine and wine in a spirit of good humour!
In the historic centre of the town of Nolay, located in the south of the Côte d'Or, 18 km from Beaune, the Tourist Agency, in partnership with the Syndicat de Défense des Hautes Côtes, is organising an event that’s fun, educational and friendly around vine and wine, and the vintage theme of the 1960s.
Around forty craftsmen invite you to discover and share their passion:
Soap maker, ironworker, glass painter, painter with wine and vineyards, ceramist, basket maker, wood turner ... Craftsmen show off their talent and know-how through demonstrations, a real living heritage.
9 winemakers from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune pay tribute to the 50-year-old appellation Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes.
The winemakers invite you to discover their secrets through commented tastings.
On Sunday afternoon, a parade on the vintage theme of the 1960s will take place linked with the wine theme: tractors, vintage vehicles, horses and carriages, characters in costume and musicians to entertain you. The day ends with an evening celebration.
Learn and have fun for free: giant wooden games for all the family.
And there’s an educational farm to keep us entertained: chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep...
As well as all this, there’s a wonderful 7 km walk suitable for the whole family. The winemakers will reveal their hidden vines to participants, teeming with anecdotes.
Along the way, there’s wild and untouched nature to keep you fascinated.
Provided with a question sheet, participants in this pedestrian rally are invited to discover the riddles of the vines, with the first 10 receiving a prize at the awards ceremony.
