Do you love good food and want to break away from culinary classicism? Then Beaune & Pays Beaunois offers a list of venues with interesting alternatives to explore.
The restaurant Les Pôpiettes at the heart of Beaune
The young chef Giada Scarton realised her dream by opening her own restaurant in the heart of Beaune, called "Les Pôpiettes". After a learning path that took her right around the world, including the great chefs of Rome, this young woman of Italian descent today displays her talents in the kitchen of "Les Pôpiettes". On the menu: home-cooked food made from fresh seasonal produce, with a touch of creativity, accompanied by a fine wine list - all served up in a relaxed atmosphere of bistro chic - make sure you don’t miss it. Note: Every Sunday morning is brunch time!
The restaurant le Montségur at la Rochepot
Outside Beaune, nestled in the heart of the village of Rochepot, where the château of the same name invites you to discover a truly magical building, the restaurant and tea room "Le Montségur" awaits you. Welcoming and original, the restaurant entrusted the decoration of its rooms to artists Moss and Richie Faret. You’ll enjoy tasting specialities based on traditional recipes cooked with local homemade produce. There are some lovely red fruits, too, grown nearby - a great way to delight the taste buds of lovers of fine food!
Reception: you’re welcome to visit from Tuesday to Friday for lunch and at tasting times to share a moment of friendly conviviality.
