CHANGE

Change is the gateway to the Maranges vineyards. With its hamlets, Marcheseuil and Créot, Change offers a landscape of vineyards and hills. The Santenay-Nolay greenway follows the old railway line, passing close to the neo-Romanesque church of Saint Roch. Further down, the Cozanne licks old stone walls and ancient houses.

For hiking

Starting from Change, circuit n°28 takes you along the Cosanne river. Ah, Cosanne or Cozanne? The letter “s” turns into a “z” as you pass Nolay. But make no mistake, it’s the same river. The 13 km are more pleasant in autumn or spring, when shady stretches are rare. And admiring the viewpoints over the orange Côte de Beaune is a real pleasure.
