At the crossroads of the great ancestral axes Autun-Beaune and Nolay-Arnay-le-Duc, Molinot was owned in the Middle Ages by the lords of Nolay, and at the beginning of the 20th century, because of its proximity to Epinac-les-Mines, was very dependent on mining. Its 400 hectares of woodland make for an unforgettable time in the forest.

A must-do

Breathe in the forest around the village. If you’re feeling brave, you can head off into the exceptional natural surroundings of the Morvan, some ten kilometers away.

Take a stroll through this pretty medieval village to admire the remains of another era: watchtowers, drinking trough, 13th-century church.
