Amateur theatre | 25th edition
From Friday 9 to Saturday 24 January
Created in 2oo1, the festival has become a not-to-be-missed event for amateur companies and audiences alike. Eight performances over three weekends are on offer, with a varied programme including boulevard plays, comedies, classics and original creations. The festival is sure to make for an entertaining start to the winter season, with a warm welcome at the Théâtre des Copiaus.
For this 25th edition, there will be stories about families and couples, humour set against a backdrop of history, comedy, the absurd and even a police investigation... In short, there's plenty to laugh about, think about, be moved by and be surprised by!

A group of siblings get together to move their childhood home. Childhood memories flood in and diverge too; versions differ, memory sometimes fails... But the question of broken promises, the fragility of the sibling relationship and the joys of the past keep coming up.

This unbridled comedy tells the story of a theatrical performance that can't begin: one of the cast members is absent! The wait puts everyone's nerves to the test, provoking unexpected situations and revealing characters and secrets that will ultimately explain the character's absence.

A burlesque and poetic plunge into the messy world of an old lady, played by eight actors. Each scene, as funny as it is touching, explores the tangle of everyday thoughts and gestures. Mrs Barfe loses her footing in a world where everything gets mixed up, and mixes her clumsiness with pure comedy.
