Exposition "Brillat-Savarin ou la naissance de la gastronomie"

To mark the bicentenary of its publication and the death of its author, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826), the Château du Clos de Vougeot will be offering visitors an exhibition entitled "Brillat-Savarin or the Birth of Gastronomy" from April 2025. Visitors will discover the history of the famous gastronome, from his birth in the Ain region, his time in Dijon and his role as Deputy and Magistrate, his writings and famous aphorisms, and of course, beyond the famous cheese, the legacy left to us 200 years later by this transcendent gastronome.
