Description
Come and experience a spectacular show featuring hundreds of costumed characters.
AUGUSTODUNUM, the King’s Dream… immerses you in a dazzling historical epic, from antiquity to the Renaissance, where sound and light come together to reveal the splendour of Autun.
Chariot races, gladiatorial combat, dances, a jousting tournament and a parade of acrobats set a lively pace for this new show, which culminates in the triumphant arrival of King François I in Autun, the ‘French Rome’.
Finally, the sky above Autun is set ablaze by the magic of a fireworks display (subject to confirmation) to bring an unforgettable evening to a close.
The stands open from 8.00 pm and the show begins around 10.00 pm.
We recommend arriving before 9.30 pm.
