Freely inspired by Mme d'Aulnoy's tale L'oiseau bleu (The Blue Bird), this feathered play recounts the misadventures of a princess and a prince in love, who are prevented from falling in love.
It's the story of Princess Florine, locked up in a tower, and the Prince, named Charmant, who, transformed into a bird for seven years, is obliged to whistle and gobble to sweet-talk her. But then the princess escapes and crosses the world to try to free Charmant from his fate.
Damien Bouvet narrates, sings, plays and makes strange noises, bringing to life all the characters who populate these marvellous adventures.
