The Santenay Music and Theatre Festival returns this year from 31 July to 4 August 2026 for a new edition that promises to be exceptional. Co-organised by the Casino JOA in Santenay and the Compagnie La Griotte, in partnership with the local council and the Santenay Festival Committee, this festival has become an unmissable event for lovers of music, theatre and culture.

Friday 31 July – Concert: “MISS JUE AND BUDDIES” – 8.30 pm
Succumb to the mischievous charm of Miss Jue and her Buddies as you’re whisked back to the world of the 1950s, with a mix of pop, rock and folk… This quintet from Rennes offers a joyful, dynamic and spirited mix that pays tribute to post-war American female singers.
Saturday 1 August – Concert: “VINTAGE DELIGHTS” – 8.30 pm
Come and discover a quartet formed in our region last year and share in their talent for groove and swing! Double bass, drums, vocals, guitar and saxophone. Four stylish lads creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. A trip back to the 1960s, to the days when people would dress in their finest to come and dance the boogaloo!
Sunday 2 August – Theatre: “UN AIR DE FAMILLE” – 8.30 pm
For Yolande’s birthday, the whole family gathers at the bistro “Le père tranquille”.
As the evening unfolds, old grudges and little secrets resurface. “Un air de famille” remains strikingly relevant: behind the laughter, we find what every family knows: love, hurt and that universal need to find one’s place amongst one’s loved ones.

Monday 3 August – Theatre: "LITS D'EMBROUILLES" – 8.30 pm
It’s a rude awakening for Raphaël after a night of heavy drinking and partying. His cleaner has been hard at work for an hour, and his eccentric mother turns up unannounced to announce her remarriage!!... But things would be far too simple for our three protagonists if we didn’t discover the body of a mysterious woman in a travel trunk!!
A comedy by François Janvier in which we are delighted to see Danièle Gilbert alongside Douchka, alongside an artist well known to the Santenois public: Jean-Philippe Azéma.
Tuesday 4 August – Theatre: “DINER DE FAMILLE” – 8.30 pm
To mark his 30th birthday, Alexandre wants to ask his parents to be witnesses at his wedding. But they’ve been at loggerheads ever since he was born. Will the family dinner go completely off the rails? Three high-energy actors star in this zany comedy that builds to a crescendo and continues to enjoy unwavering success. A huge hit in Paris for nearly 10 years. A classic from the famous “Café de la Gare”.
