A theme as scabrous as it is mischievous and invigorating! A whole clique of percussion instruments are brought together, their shocks and mischievous sounds embodying the devil. In an imaginary but very sonorous clearing, this diabolus (in musica) himself invites the famous Queen of the Sabbath, accompanied by a hopping crowd of monsters, witches, puppets and skeletons... At the appointed hour, the wands perform several macabre dances, testifying to Man's eternal fascination with death.
