Description
From 5 to 7 June, four private gardens around Beaune will be exceptionally opening their gates to the public in aid of the Jardins & Santé association. The aim is to help fund therapeutic gardens in hospitals and care facilities, while offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature, heritage, biodiversity and artistic creation.
In Chevigny-en-Valière, the garden at La Dézerte combines landscaping and artistic creations. In front of the house, flower beds, rocks and decorative objects make up a neat and abundant universe.
At the rear, the garden takes on a more natural and artistic dimension. Here, the owner exhibits his own sculptures made from old tools and scrap metal with a patina of age. Imaginary creatures and references to antiquity are all part of this walk through the surrounding countryside.
The garden will be open on Friday 5 June from 2pm to 6pm, and on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June from 10am to 6pm.
