From 5 to 7 June, four private gardens around Beaune will be exceptionally opening their gates to the public in aid of the Jardins & Santé association. The aim is to help fund therapeutic gardens in hospitals and care facilities, while offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature, heritage, biodiversity and artistic creation.
In Aubigny-la-Ronce, the old country presbytery reveals a priest's garden structured around flower and vegetable patches surrounded by boxwood.
Perennials, irises, peonies, hydrangeas, roses and aromatic plants make up this serene setting, punctuated by a well, a grotto and a small oratory ideal for meditation.
The garden also offers a panoramic view of the Morvan.
A Jazzpots concert is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
The garden will be open on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June from 10 am to 6 pm.
