On Sunday 19 April, the 9 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Burgundy-Franche-Comté will be celebrating this exceptional heritage with a day of festivities and educational activities!
To mark the occasion, the Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne - World Heritage Site invites you to the foot of the 1st Growths of the Montagne de Beaune for a rich programme: a tour of the vineyards with tasting, games, a booklet of riddles, events, an exhibition and a competition.
Come along to the Domaine Baptiste Guyot between 10.30am and 5.30pm for an immersion into the world of the Climats and World Heritage status!
A walk through the vineyards of the Montagne de Beaune, with a game of riddles and wine tasting:
Depart from the estate, riddle booklet in hand, and set off for a 1h15 stroll through the vineyards. Along the way, 10 explanatory panels await you, providing information about the landscape, biodiversity, geology, Climats, appellations and heritage that surround you. There's also a riddle or game to solve at each stage! On arrival, you'll be offered a tasting of 2 wines by winegrowers from the Beaune ODG.
1h15 self-guided tour, easy difficulty. Bring trainers (no pushchairs during the walk).
Games and entertainment for all:
Test your knowledge and have fun with several participative activities:
- Journey to UNESCO land: match objects or characters to the sites to which they belong.
- World Heritage Mölkky: get your aim right and answer questions about this exceptional heritage.
- World Heritage Wheel: turn the wheel and find out all you need to know about World Heritage.
- Themed workshops (biodiversity, landscape, etc.) for all ages.

A fun travel diary will enable children and parents to discover the 9 UNESCO sites in Burgundy-Franche-Comté: remember to stamp each stage!
