The scent of smoked wood, straight from Texas, will soon be wafting through Beaune.
On Saturday 4 July, to mark America’s Independence Day, the Jardins Bichot will host an event that is as unique as it is exceptional: a visit from The Pit Room, the famous Houston-based restaurant awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide.
For the first time, the team from the Texan restaurant will be crossing the Atlantic to introduce Burgundian food lovers to authentic Central Texas barbecue, considered one of America’s great culinary traditions.
Set in the lush surroundings of the Jardins Bichot, at 11 Boulevard Maréchal-Joffre, the event will take the form of a grand American-style barbecue, where fine food, wine and socialising will be at the heart of the experience.
