Gîtes du Marquis et de la Marquise- Château de Coraboeuf

In Val-Mont, on the outskirts of a small, quiet village, 20 km from Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, this complex of two holiday cottages, situated in the east wing of the Château de Coraboeuf (open to visitors all year round), can accommodate up to 12 people. The two holiday homes, the Gîte de la Marquise and the Gîte du Marquis, are adjoining and can be hired together, making them particularly well-suited for holidays with family or friends. The owners, who live in the main part of the château, welcome guests on site and are available throughout your stay. On arrival, you may enter the château courtyard to unload your luggage. You must then park in the visitors’ car park located at the entrance to the property (one space per vehicle). Each holiday cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher), a washing machine and a comfortable living area. The Gîte de la Marquise is equipped with a television, whilst the Gîte du Marquis features a projection system with Chromecast. Board games and a selection of books are also available. For group stays, meals can be taken in the dining room of the Gîte du Marquis, making it easy for everyone to gather together. The property offers a total of 6 bedrooms. Beds are made on arrival and towels are provided. Most beds are 160x200, with flexible room layouts allowing for either single beds (90x200) or a large double bed (180x200), available on request at the time of booking. Equipment for young children (travel cot, high chair, changing mat) can be provided upon prior request. Wi-Fi is available in each gîte. Please note that the thickness of the château’s walls may limit its range outside the buildings. The grounds include a large park accessible to guests, with dining areas, barbecues (one area per gîte), outdoor seating and leisure facilities, including a table tennis table. A welcome guide is provided with suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. Bicycles can be hired on request. For everyone’s comfort, the entire property is non-smoking and does not allow pets. End-of-stay cleaning, electricity and heating are included in the price. On site: a tour of the Château de Coraboeuf, a family-owned property since the 18th century. Nearby: Beaune and its Hospices (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and Montrachet hill, the Cirque du Bout du Monde, the cliffs of Saint-Romain and Baubigny, the Ouche valley, and Dijon, approximately 50 minutes away.
