Just a few minutes from the centre of Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines, renovated 1st floor flat in a beautiful house dating from 1930. Fitted kitchen. Dining room - living room with sofa bed offering 2 good quality beds. One bedroom with a separate 160cm bed and a second bedroom (also with a 160cm bed) with a connecting bathroom. Separate WC with washbasin andsmall balcony. Bed linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning, electricity and heating included. Public car park. Bike hire and yoga classes also available. Minimum 2-night booking. Cellar on site. Several gîtes on the property can be rented together or separately. 3rd weekend in November, Beaune wine sale: special rates and bookings direct with the owner.
Beaune has many events organised throughout the year. Visit the famous Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the vineyards of the Route des Grands Crus, with their evocative names: Volnay, Pommard, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, etc. For leisure activities, explore the Voie des Vignes on foot or by bike, or take advantage of Beaune côté Plage with its 4 natural swimming pools and its climbing wall, the only one of its kind in France. There are numerous restaurants and wine-tasting cellars in Beaune and the surrounding area where you can savour Burgundy's gastronomic delights.
