Description
The 12th-century Romanesque basilica of Saint Mary Magdalene is a spiritual landmark, rediscovered in the 19th century by Mérimée and restored by Viollet-le-Duc. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is currently being restored and is a national and international landmark for culture and for the Christians who venerate the relics of Saint Mary Magdalene there.
