The Hôtel-Dieu des Hospices de Beaune is THE must-see monument in Burgundy. This gem of the region’s wine-growing heritage will give you an insight into the full complexity of the links between hospitality, religion, wine-growing and charity.
A self-guided tour, during which you can ask the guides any questions you may have, as well as a guided tour on Sundays at 2.15 pm, await you as you explore the Hôtel-Dieu.
Special opening of the Salle Vergnette de Lamotte: Have you heard of the Salle Vergnette de Lamotte? And what about Alfred Vergnette de Lamotte,

the 1889 Paris World’s Fair: there you’ll find a relief map of the Côte d’Or vineyards as well
the display that had been designed at the time to present Burgundy wines at the
World’s Fair.
