Finding that rare gem is no easy task. On 30 June 2025, just 40 minutes from Dijon, the Gault et Millau Tour Bourgogne-Franche-Comté 2025 awards ceremony was held. The event rewarded four local restaurants and highlighted the culinary expertise of a region rich in talent and passion.

1. La Table de Levernois: Lucas Chambfort wins the "Pâtissier" trophy

At La Table de Levernois, already renowned for its gastronomic excellence, it was the sweet talents of Lucas Chambfort that were hailed by Gault et Millau. By winning the ‘Pâtissier’ trophy, he confirms the establishment’s place among the great restaurants where dessert becomes an exceptional moment. His experience in chocolate and his creations showcase local produce with a creativity that makes all the difference. To be savoured without moderation!

2. Ed.em: Edouard Mignot wins the "Terroir d'exception" award

When the “Terroir d’exception” award resounds in Chassagne-Montrachet, the Ed.em restaurant stands out thanks to its chef Édouard Mignot. It’s a fine accolade for this passionate chef, who makes the most of local produce. In his dishes, the chef plays inventively with local produce to create unforgettable local flavours.

3. L'Alentour : Tatenda Mende walks away with the "Young Indoor Talent" trophy

It’s not just the stoves that are in the spotlight, but also the dining room. Tatenda Mende from L’Alentour restaurant in Beaune, winner of the ‘Jeune Talent en salle’ trophy, is honouring the art of service. The award recognises her acute sense of welcome, her knowledge of food and wine pairing and her ability to create a unique atmosphere through her professionalism and enthusiasm.

4. Auprès du Clocher: Rémi Genot takes the "Jeune Talent" trophy back to Pommard

Accomplished chefs are not the only ones on stage, as demonstrated by Rémi Genot from the Auprès du Clocher restaurant in Pommard, who walked away with the “Jeune Talent” trophy. This award recognises his creativity, his respect for produce and his ability to make Burgundy cuisine shine with freshness and modernity. It’s a sign of a bright future for this passionate young chef.

The 2025 winners have nothing to envy of the great restaurants already crowned, likeÉric Pras of La Maison Lameloise in Chagny, who proudly retains his toques. But don’t worry: other establishments in the region have also been awarded the prestigious Gault & Millau toques in recent years, proving that the Beaune region is a hotbed of talent.

1. Le Clos du Cèdre

Located in the heart of the wine capital, a stone’s throw from theHôtel-Dieu – Hospices de Beaune, Loiseau des Vignes proudly displays its distinctions: It has been awarded the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label, a Michelin star and a “Table Gourmande” with a toque from Gault & Millau. At the helm of this exceptional establishment is a top-flight duo: chef Alexandre Dutat, awarded two Gault & Millau toques, orchestrates a refined cuisine rooted in the terroir, while Éric Goettelmann, head sommelier crowned Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2019, oversees an exceptional cellar. Together, they invite you to discover Burgundy from glass to plate. With its four wine cellars, elegantly housed in an oak case and offering up to 32 different wines by the glass, Loiseau des Vignes reveals all its oenological expertise.
