Keep your eyes peeled for peregrine falcons, bats and butterflies in these protected areas. To make the most of the site, take the signposted path that circles the cirque in a 3km loop, accessible to all, and let yourself be lulled by the murmur of waterfalls and birdsong. The Cirque du Bout du Monde is an unmissable stop-off for a breath of fresh air.

Take the road to Savigny-lès-Beaune and follow the Chemin des Bois, a very easy, shady and relaxing trail along the Rhoin. Lasting around 1 hour 45 minutes and covering 5km5, this family-friendly walking trail takes you along the Rhoin, which rises at Bouilland. Bouilland, the Fontaine Froide waterfall site and a tufa rock created naturally by the loss of carbon dioxide from the limestone.
